Ceramics has a long and diverse history as a material used by mankind, from the very first archaic artefacts during late stone age up to highly technical ceramics nowadays.
The vase design TORQ somewhat bridges this diverse legacy. Precise geometrical shapes of almost mathematical character meet the reality of raw material with all its flaws and archaic appeal of an unglazed surface.
The vases have been a part of Art Museum Krefeld design exhibition at Mies van der Rohe’s Haus Lange Haus Esters in 2023.
